ROCK TAYLOR Welcome to the six oclock News News, news where we report on the news happing to our very own News Team 6. We begin tonight with an update on the new newsroom set our team is building. We go live to Jackie Riley in the midst of the construction. ZOOM OUT: Camera reveals/Rock looks directly at JACKIE RILEY, reporter, standing in the midst of cardboard boxes, mere feet from Rock. JACKIE RILEY Thanks Rock. As you can see, our station is deep into its third week of construction. Were hoping to unveil the new News Team 6 news room early next week, but for now, it looks like the News Team will have to put up with the dirt and noise for a little bit longer. Jackie hesitates for a beat. JACKIE RILEY (CONTD) In other News Team news, I am announcing my retirement. After 16 years, its time to start a new chapter of my life. I would like to thank-ROCK TAYLOR (interrupting) Jackie, sorry to cut you off but we have some breaking news. We go now to Andy Smith in our News Team Live Truck, right outside our station. CUT TO:

2. EXT. NEWS STATION - DAY ANDY SMITH, rookie reporter, talks from a remote live shot, being broadcast from the News Team 6 van. ANDY SMITH Thanks Rock. News Team 6 has just received an exclusive story. In an unforeseen turn of evens, News Team 6 member Jackie Riley has just announced her retirement. We go now to Jackie for her thoughts. CUT TO: INT. NEWS ROOM JACKIE RILEY Thanks Andy. As previously reported, I am leaving the station after today. I-A box from the construction tumbles into Jackies area. JACKIE RILEY (CONTD) Breaking news! There has been a construction accident at the News Team 6 News Room. No casualties are reported so far, but-ROCK TAYLOR (interrupting) Jackie, Andy in the field has a breaking story. Andy? CUT TO: EXT. NEWS STATION ANDY SMITH Thanks Rock. We have just received word that Jackie Riley in fact is not retiring, as previously reported, but is instead reporting on the story a construction kerfuffle. New Team Six apologizes for the error. Back to Jackie. CUT TO:

3. INT. NEWS ROOM JACKIE RILEY Thanks Andy. Still no word on the cause of the accident. Back to you, Rock. ROCK TAYLOR Thanks Jackie. Back to Andy. CUT TO: EXT. NEWS STATION ANDY SMITH Thanks Rock. When will her retirement come? Were gathering the details now. Jackie? CUT TO: INT. NEWS ROOM JACKIE RILEY Thanks Andy. Rock Taylor has the details. ROCK TAYLOR Thanks Jackie. Andy, your thoughts on how youre about to receive details on Jackies retirement? CUT TO: EXT. NEWS STATION We see Andys mouth moving but do not hear him. He is unaware of the problem. CUT TO: INT. NEWS ROOM JACKIE RILEY Breaking news, Rock. News Team 6 has just lost the audio signal from junior reporter Andy Smith, who had been delivering a live report from the field.

4. ROCK TAYLOR Lets take this moment and check in on Colleen with traffic. CUT TO: INT. TRAFFIC ROOM Conner, reporter, stands and delivers. COLLEEN Thanks Rock. The construction accident will affect your commute to the Break room. To avoid backup, we suggest taking a detour from the hallway, through the green room, and using the back door to the break room. Back to you, Rock. CUT TO: INT. NEWS ROOM ROCK TAYLOR Thanks Colleen. Jackie, any word on Andys audio? JACKIE RILEY Rock, it appears that Andy is indeed back up. Andy? CUT TO: EXT. NEWS STATION ANDY SMITH Thanks Jackie. My microphone is working now. Rock, commentary on the issue? CUT TO: INT. NEWS ROOM ROCK TAYLOR I think that this is a tough business and these accidents are bound to happen. Andy? CUT TO:
