Citizensshouldstayindoorsduringthehurricaneandawayfromwindowsorglassdoors. Also,EmergencyServicesofficialsarerequestingcitizensstayofftheroadwayas conditionsareexpectedtoworsen.Remembertokeepcurtainsandblindsclosed,closeall interiordoorsandsecureandbraceexternaldoors.Also,itsimportantforresidentsand visitorstonotbefooledifthereisalullinthestorm,asitcouldbetheeyeofthestormand windscouldpickupagain.Ifnecessary,takerefugeinasmallinteriorroom,closetor hallwayonthelowestlevel. Atthistimethestormisexpectedtobeatitsworsebetween6p.m.and9p.m.today,with estimatedsustainedwindsat4050mphwithpossiblegustsreachinghurricanestrength. Approximately10inchesofrainisexpected,whichwillresultinseverefloodinginlow lyingareaswhencombinedwiththestormandtidalsurges.
