Route90bridgebeingclosedtononemergencyvehicles,Stormconditions worsening Duetoincreasingwindsandrain,theRoute90Bridgewillbeclosedat5p.m.toallnon emergencytrafficuntilfurthernotice.Forthoseresidentsandvisitorswhohavechosen nottoevacuate,OceanCityEmergencyServicesisadvisingtoshelterinplacebyremaining whereyouareforthedurationofthestorm. Citizensshouldstayindoorsduringthehurricaneandawayfromwindowsorglassdoors. Also,EmergencyServicesofficialsarerequestingcitizensstayofftheroadwayas conditionsareexpectedtoworsen.Remembertokeepcurtainsandblindsclosed,closeall interiordoorsandsecureandbraceexternaldoors.Also,itsimportantforresidentsand visitorstonotbefooledifthereisalullinthestorm,asitcouldbetheeyeofthestormand windscouldpickupagain.Ifnecessary,takerefugeinasmallinteriorroom,closetor hallwayonthelowestlevel.
