Communication Objectives:
1. To enjoin public participation in the distribution of CFL.
Project Highlights:
a) The DOE will conduct a nationwide distribution of 15-watt daylight CFL for free (3.6 Million). b) Each congressional district and partylist representative will have 10,000 CFL allotment. c) Each beneficiary is entitled to 2 CFLs. d) The Congressional and Party List Representatives will be responsible for identifying the beneficiaries.
CFL Benefits:
a) High Quality Performance Tested. b) An efficient lighting option that saves up to 80% on electricity consumption. c) Long lasting up to 10,000 burning hours. d) Bright a 15-watt CFL gives the same brightness compared to a 60-watt incandescent bulb. e) Cut electricity cost save up to Php 50.00 per month per lamp (based on average of 4 hours per day use and shift from 60-watt incandescent bulb to 15-watt CFL.) f) Environment friendly-reduced electricity consumption result to lower carbon emission.

Mechanics of Distribution:
a) b) c) d) Bring the latest electric bill in the claim centers. Exchange it for 2 CFLs. Use the CFL to immediately benefit from saving. Each household beneficiary is entitled to 2 CFLs.
Schedule of distribution:
Final schedule of distribution shall be announced by DOE through local newspaper and radio stations.
