Title: Mabul Score: A Comments: This is a well put together story of a boy preparing for his Bar Mitzvah.

At the same time the realities of adulthood hit him like a freight train. The story is well written even though this is literally an avalanche of despair, everything seems authentic and believable. The production is very high quality. The actors are perfect the sound is excellent, the costumes and make-up are excellent and the music is excellent. A few points might be funny in a larger audience, but this is strictly drama. Title: Romeo & Juliet Score: D Comments: This is a camp or group home production that is funny and cute but better left at home with the families. We have seen handicapped actors before and they were filmed to look their very best. This production consists of putting mentally challenged people in horrible costumes and having them act out Shakespeare. The sets are one step up from cardboard. The swords are Nerf as if that were necessary. The whole thing has an uneasy feeling of Were not laughing with you, were laughing at you. The actors are clearly giggly and eager to be on film so that nasty word exploitation becomes a factor. Title: The Light in the Shadows Score: Whats lower than F? Comments: The film starts with some confused made-up mythology that uses recognizable names from Greek mythology. Then the characters are costumed in fabrics from Africa and cloth is randomly tied around shoulders and body parts. The setting is very recognizably a gothic style church. From there the story is set in the 1930s with surprising discussions of WWII, which hasnt happened yet. Also there is vintage film that takes a tangent away from the story. There are a few vintage cars showcased in the film that are tremendously helpful in establishing the period. The actors are incapable of delivering a line in context. They seem to

have scripts with all the punctuation taken out. Then voices are overdubbed which lack any background noise. There is interesting camerawork throughout the film. The make-up the effects and the sound were indescribably horrible. The film was gratefully short. Title: Golchehreh Score: Comments: This word might be German meaning screws up your electronics. It made a high-pitched squeal come out of my DVD player and my computer claims it was corrupted, with the same sound coming out of it.
