Banag: Here is the opinion you requested. The facts, gathered from you and your documents, are as follows: At about 9 p.m. of January 15, 2012, you were walking at Bambang St., Green Meadows Subdivision Calumpit Bulacan going home from a drinking spree with your friends at the house of Allan Dela Cruz who were just blocks away from the said street. You were then approached by a guy with Marco Angeles, 67 in height

wearing a black jacket, a denim jeans from behind. He then pointed a knife at your neck and declaring that it was a

hold up. With you frightened pushed the Marco and he fell on the ground bumping his head on a sharp stone that caused his death. In your fright you ran towards Allan Dela Cruzs house and told your friends what just happened,

few hours passed and baranggay tanod accompanied with police men invited you at Calumpit police station to give

your statement. Mrs. Mary Ann Angeles, threatens you to pay up 50,000.00 for the charges or they will press the

charges and file the said case to the court.

The issue here is whether you may be held criminally and civilly liable for the death of Marco Angeles.
