Private Giving FY 2012

Total Endowment: At the close of FY 12, the Universitys endowment, which stood at $42 million at the start of 1995, was valued at approximately $329 million. In FY 12, private fundraising receipts totaled $60 million: $27.4 million for Storrs and the regional campuses, $10.9 million for the Health Center, and $21.8 million for Athletics. Alumni contributed $21 million in FY 12. Additional commitments included $19 million from parents and other individuals, and $20 million from corporations, private foundations and other organizations.
