A TIME TO CELEBRATE?
This week was a very important anniversary. Excuse me if I do not choose to celebrate it. January 22 marked the 40th anniversary of Roe vs Wade, the landmark decision which made abortion legal for any reason at any time during a womans pregnancy up to nine months all 50 states. That is not the type of anniversary I choose to celebrate, but rather to commemorate. 6th & Independence, P.O. Box 96 Beloit, KS 67420 785-738-3433 Toll Free 1-800-585-3433 It is a time for us to remember the nearly 55 million lives that have been ended before birth in the US alone and the countless families that have been deeply affected. It is a time to consider the sanctity of human life and to worship its Creator.

Life is a precious gift from God. Each baby born has the opportunity to experience joy, to learn to love, and to glorify God. Yet everyday desperate young women make the choice between life and death for their unborn baby. The pressures they face can be intense and the value of the innocent life in their womb is often diminStaff ished. But we are here to help. We offer counseling, support, and truth. In this loving atmosphere our clients can learn to see hope in a situation that may have Alice Thompson ~ Director seemed hopeless. We walk alongside them in their situation giving Gods perspecMary Fugate~ Sexual Integrity Director tive of both their value and the value of their unborn baby. Karrie Wiles~ Office Manager We equip them with the knowledge and information they need to make the choice Hannah Reardon~ Client Advocate between parenting and adoption, and with information and skills to empower them to be the very best parents they can be! I will celebrate the hundreds of young women and men who have come to receive free pregnancy tests, counseling, and education to strengthen their families! I will celebrate the babies and toddlers that now are playing, going to school, laughing, and giggling because their mother chose to give them life after coming to Heart Choices or any other pregnancy care center! I will celebrate LIFE! And I will PRAY that our nation will receive healing from the damage of abortion and the power to protect and nurture life. As we look to the future, we pray the individuals and families spared from abortion will inspire us to continue to speak up for those who do not have a voice.

It's easy. Heart Choices provides the empty baby bottles. Individuals and families from churches, schools or organizations, take them home and for one month fill the baby bottles with loose pocket change. The bottle can be filled with coins, dollar bills, or a check made out to Heart Choices. At the end of the campaign, the filled bottles are collected. The organization or church counts the money and submits a check to Heart Choices for the total amount. Its that easy! Every cent is used to help Heart Choices reach out to women in need because of unplanned pregnancies, educate and equip parents to provide the best upbringing for their children, and educate young people to make healthy choices regarding their sexuality.
