    1Minister of Veterans Affairs Canada Award of Excellence


    The Ministers Award of Excellence serves to formally recognize individuals for their generous contributions and outstanding dedication to Veterans and to the values they serve to uphold. The Ministers Award of Excellence can provide formal recognition to anyone, regardless of country of residence. In this respect it differs from the Ministers Commendation, which is awarded annually and is intended primarily for Veterans. The Ministers Commendation is also intended for Canadians.
