    Dr. Seusss real name was Theodor Seuss Geisel. Seuss was his mothers last name. Dr. Seusss father owned a zoo. Dr. Seuss lived for 87 years. Dr. Seuss made more than 60 different books. Dr. Seuss also drew cartoons for newspapers. Dr. Seuss also worked for the United States army. Dr. Seusss birthday was March 2. Dr. Seuss was German. Dr. Seuss went to Dartmouth and Oxford colleges. A library and a garden were named after him. Dr. Seuss used pencils, watercolors and pens to draw.
