Whats that Sound?

How does sound actually work and where can I nd different sounds? Open Sound Uncovered.

On the rst page you will see the menu. You will be using 4 areas today and exploring the others when you have nished. 1.Go to the Eyes Vs Ears and see what is happening. On your worksheet answer these questions: a. In your own words what do you think is really happening? b. Stand up. Walk to the other side of the room. On the worksheet, fold your paper in half. Take it in turns to guess what the peple are talking about. Without cheating (your partner should be the referee) you need to write the names of the things. 4.Now, were going to use: The Beat Goes On. And Off. And On. Explain, what happens when you get the numbers to 400 and 401. You can see the sound. What do you really think is going on? Go and explore. 5. Find.... The tiny sounds. The really small ones.
