ABSTRACT
 
Mobile Computing is a term describestechnologies that enable the users to access thenetwork from any place at any time. Ubiquitouscomputing and nomadic computing aresynonymous with mobile computing. The needto access the network without locationconstraints. Mobile computing is a computing paradigm that allows users to access the network not only from fixed locations, but also whilemoving or in transit. Mobile computingtechnology is improving and becoming morefeasible.Mobile computing involves connection withthe network and data processing. Using phonesfrom anywhere in the world is not mobilecomputing because there is no data processinginvolved. Using a laptop while moving is notmobile computing if there is no connection to anetwork. Mobile Computing comprises of applications in various fields such ascommercial, medical, defense, networking andelectronic devices etc. This article explains howthis technology could be implemented, and whatuses it could serve.
