Submissions may be made electronically at any time within the program windows (before 5pm on the final deadline). The time of delivery on the email will serve as the time stamp for email submissions and a confirmation will be sent immediately upon receipt by Human Capital Management (HCM). Can I submit my early notification documents over the weekend? Only during the second program window would this apply. If you wish to submit your forms during the weekend, please submit them electronically via email only during the program windows. No. By submitting an early notification incentive application with your S54, you are committing to finishing the school year in your current position. You must work until the last duty day of your contract to receive the incentive. When will I receive the incentive? If your application is approved and you fulfill your contract, you will receive the incentive on your final August 2013 paycheck. Will submitting an early notification application affect my benefits? If your application is approved and you fulfill your contract, your benefits will not be affected. You will still receive them through August as you normally would have. Do I need my principals permission to submit an application? No, however you will need their signature on the S54 resignation form; this is for acknowledgement purposes. If you encounter problems obtaining your principals signature, notify earlynotification@dallasisd.org immediately.

What happens when the one million dollar cap is reached? A cap of one million dollars has been allocated for this incentive. Once the funds have been exhausted the program will be suspended. For this reason, eligible teachers who wish to take part are encouraged to submit their documents as soon as possible. All applications and S54s will be time stamped and will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. If I turn in my application and then find out that the funds were depleted and I will not receive an incentive payment, is my S-54 still a binding document? Yes, all submitted S-54s are binding documents regardless of approval for incentive pay. Can my years of service at another district count toward my years of service for the incentive? No. As stated in the program guidelines, only continuous years of service in Dallas ISD will count toward the incentive pay. Who do I contact if I have questions? Please email earlynotification@dallasisd.org for questions and concerns.
