INVESTIGATION: On September 9, 2008 I met with Sgt. Denny Butler and several
LMPD Homicide Detectives at Pleasure Ridge Park High School. The below listed student-
athletes were interviewed in reference to the death of Max Gilpin (case # 08-197). The
interviews were conducted in my assigned police vehicle on the grounds of the school. The
interviews were tape recorded and will be transcribed. The first interview began at 1005 hours
and the last interview was completed at approximately 1330 hours.
The student-athletes interviewed were, Isiah Colbert, Raphael Shrewberry, Dion M.
Cummings, Robert A. McCormick, Jacob J. Roberson, Marcus D. Brown, Kevon R. Richardson,
Anthony T. Wood, Marquess Martin, Jaque M. Taylor and Adrian B. Vertrees.
After the completion of these interviews, I met with lead detective Terry Jones, Sgt.
Butler, and the rest of the Homicide Detectives in the parking lot of the school. We briefly
discussed the findings of the interviews and left the school at approximately 1400 hours.
