SYNOPSIS
The project work entitled A STUDY ON APPLICATION OF TECHNICAL ANALYSIS ON SECTORICAL SCRIPS is an outcome of 3 months. The main objective of the study is to know the price ups and down of the stock market and to make the profit in the business. Trend is the direction of movement. The trend of the stock market is identified with help of indicators. The indicators used for this technical analysis are simple moving average, exponential average, rate of change, relative strength index, line charts. The upward and downward movements of scrip are interpreted by counter moves. The underlying is trend can be studied by smoothing of the data; to smooth the data moving average technique is used. Relative strength index is an oscillator used to identify the strength and weakness of particular script. Rate of change indicator is an oscillator that measures the percent change in price from one period to the next. The breadth of the market is found out with help of advance and decline lines this is compared with the market index to find out the trend reversals in an earlier stage. Exponential moving average is also used as an indicator to find out the reversals.
