Dear Ms Devine: Thank you for taking the !im~to contact Campbell Soup Company to express your point of view on the issue oL_ genetically modified ingredients in food. At Campbell, our number one priority is to delight our consumers. We constantly strive to deliver foods that are good tasting, nutritionally healthy and of the highest quality. Each of the foods produced by Campbell meets all Federal Government requirements for safety. Campbell does not purchase genetically modified vegetables for our food products. This includes such ingredients as tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, peppers and sweet com. Campbell's use of genetically modified ingredients is restricted to ingredients derived from soybeans, canola and corn sourced in North America. The U.S commodity supply of soybeans, canola and com includes a mix of genetically modified and conventional crops: When present, these types of ingredients make up a very small percentage of the content of our finished product.
