Experience : Taking part in designing many small boats for different shipbuilding companies such as: A number of tug boats and service boats Nile floating hotels ( e.g. Nephtis) Floating restaurants (e.g. Onyx & Topaz) Review the design of pipeline marker buoys and mooring buoys for Geisum Oil Company in Suez Gulf, Red Sea, May 1998. Working with the technical department of the Alexandria shipyard as a technical advisor from April 1996 to February 1997. Preparing a techno-economical evaluation of a number of marine units. Preparing a number of technical specifications for a number of maritime tenders. Participating as a member in technical evaluation committees for offers of a number of marine unit tenders. Participating as a member in expert committees in a number of disputes and court cases. Participating in a training course in a shipbuilding company in Netherlands 1980. Post-doctoral fellowship in Fisheries and Marine Institute, memorial University, Newfoundland, Canada from February 1997 to February 1998. Supervising a number of M.Sc. and Ph.D. students in the field of ship hydrodynamics and ship design.
