REPORT OF THE FOURTH PROJECT MEETING

“ Steady European Development of My School- Past, Present, Future”

COMENIUS, LIFELONG LEARNING PROGRAMME

The fourth project meeting took place in Belfort/ France, at Lycee Raoul
Follereau, from 30.03.2009 to 05.04.2009

Completed Activities:
During the fourth project meeting the following activities have been completed:
- the students had been accommodated at the host families which helped them to get to
know French traditions and culture as well as French nowadays way of living.
- Welcoming at Lycee Raoul Follereau, Belfort /France .
There was a meeting with the Principal of the French school: Mr. Jean-Luc MONARD. There
was a very warm welcome from the Deputy Headmasters as well.

Due to the different dates of arrival and departure of the different partners, all the
delegations were together only for two days and a half, which ha limited the time spent at
school on the project.
− Project work at school :
Two mornings were dedicated to the project: On the fist morning, the pupils
presented the data from the surveys and discussed the meaning and the possible
interpretations of this work. On the second morning, the teachers from all the
delegations worked together on the writing of the report: “Strategy for Steady
European Development of my school”.
Each partner school presented the results of the completed students’ survey about
School Development using multi media, Power Point Presentation .Project agreements;

- If they wished to do so, teachers and pupils took part in some lessons.

-Reception at the Town Hall – Belfort. Very warm welcome by a representative of the
mayor of Belfort in charge of education.

- Cultural and social activities:

-Visit of Montbeliard: walk through the city and visit of a scientific pedagogical
center.
-Sightseeing Basel: visit of the town and its site and monuments in the morning, Art
Museum in the afternoon.
- Visit of Belfort with a guide.
- Sightseeing Colmar.

This was our final project meeting. The teachers and the students had discussions
about the project final products. The project final common products will be:

Till the end of June, 2009 all teachers and students participating in the project activities
have to complete the Test for Self-Evaluation.
