Andhra Dosakaya Curry

500 g dosakaya /yellow cucumber 3-4 green chillies (according to taste) cup fresh coconut 2tbsp oil Pinch hing Salt according to taste Tempering : tsp mustard seeds , 1 tsp chana dal, curry leaves, 2 red chillies, turmeric powder

1. Peel yellow cucmber and cut into small pieces while removing seeds. Do check the taste of a piece of cucumber , if bitter must not use the vegetable 2. Heat oil - add tempering ingredients mustard seeds, chana dal, curry leaves, red chillies and some turmeric powder 3. Add the peeled cucumber pieces to the above tempering , mix, cover and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add a cup of water to the above and let it cook 4. Grind coconut pieces, green chillies together . Add to the above curry and cook till you achieve required consistency 5. Garnish with coriander. Best served with rice.
