Admission Procedure

1. Eligibility:Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate / B Grade can apply for the PGDM Programme. Applicants who are appearing for final year degree examination can also apply. However, if selected, they will have to produce the proof of completion of their graduation before 30th October, 2013, failing which their admission will be cancelled and the entire fees paid by them will be forfeited. Students having backlog of subjects or ATKTs, which are not cleared till 31 st March 2013 are not eligible for admission. Applicants w h o h a v e appeared in one of the following written aptitude tests are eligible to apply: CAT (Nov-2012), ATMA (Dec2012, Feb-2013) CMAT (Sept-2012, Feb-2013) Applicants must submit the documentary proof / evidence for the aptitude test score which they are mentioning in the form. Applicants should mention score of all the tests like CAT (Nov-2012), ATMA (Dec-2012, Feb-2013) and CMAT (Sept-2012, Feb-2013) whichever they have appeared for. IES MCRC will consider the highest score among all the tests which the applicant has provided in the application form. ATMA and CMAT will have 10% lower weightage as compared to CAT. Candidates will be shortlisted to participate in the selection process on the basis of this score. Note: IIMs or any other agency conducting the above tests have no role in the selection process of IES MCRC.

2. How to Apply The admission processing charges of Rs. 1200/- should be paid by Demand Draft / Pay Order in favour of IES MCRC Autonomous Payable at Mumbai. Applicants can also make the payment through NEFT gateway. 3. Instructions to fill up the Online Application Registration Form a. All the entries in the application form should be in capital letters. b. Mention your Blood Group if it is known. c. Applicants name and date of birth should be as mentioned in the 10th Standard marks sheet or certificate. d. All communication details, viz. address for correspondence, permanent address, guardian address contact no/s and email id should be clearly entered. e. If the applicant is not a resident of Mumbai, h e / s h e must state whether he / she needs hostel facility and must give complete and correct name and address of the local guardian in Mumbai. IES MCRC provides limited hostel facility on first come first served basis. The hostel is located at a distance of around 3/4 km. from the Institute. The programme fee does not include hostel fees and charges. f. I. In case of College / University awarding grades instead of marks the applicant must write GPA in the form. They should also write the maximum GPA out of which they have scored (eg: 4.25 GPA out of 5 or 7.5 out of 10) II. Important: In case of any error or wrong information related to educational qualification, the applicant himself / herself will be responsible and his / her application for admission will be immediately cancelled g. In the Work Experience space, applicants need to mention all details about the current /past work experience. Experience of less than 12 months will not be given any weightage. Experience in family business, proprietary shops will not be considered. Experience with Government Organizations, Private and Public Ltd. Companies and Registered Partnership Firms will be considered. h. On completion of the form please check all the details and then click on the Submit button. On doing so you will be informed whether all the details are correct or not and if you need to go back and make the necessary corrections. i. After submitting the form, a printable form will appear. Applicant can print the form. Also the link will be mailed to them on the given mail-id for further reference or printing it later.

4. Submission of Application Registration Form a. Last date of Submission of Online Application Form is 6th May 2013. b. After submitting the online form a printout of the form should be taken and along with Demand Draft / Pay Order (in case if the payment has not been made through NEFT Gateway) and necessary documents submitted latest by 6th May, 2013 at the following address:Indian Education Societys Management College and Research Centre Vishwakarma M. Applicant should submit all documents as per the list mentioned in mandatory documents; duly attested by Gazetted Officer along with the Application Registration Form. All documents shall be verified by IESMCRC with the application registration form details. During verification if any incorrect information is found then the form will be outright rejected. Furthermore if at the time of admission (payment of fees), any document or information is found to be false or incorrect, provisional admission will be cancelled. 5. 6. Selection a. Applicants whose application registration forms are in order will be called for Micro Presentation (MP) and Personal Interview (PI) based on the scores in Aptitude tests. The schedule for MP / PI will be displayed on IES MCRC Website and will also be intimated to the short listed candidates by email. All Outstation Applicants are advised to make their own travel arrangements in advance, keeping in mind the rush due to seasonal and holiday booking. Information on Micro Presentation (MP):- Applicant will be required to give a short presentation of 5 minutes duration on a topic given to them on the spot. Presentation will be followed by a question and answer session. The Micro presentation is meant for assessing communication skills, presentation skills and subject knowledge of the applicant. Personal Interview (PI):- Personal Interview will be conducted on the same day. Final selection will be based on the following parameters for admission. 7. Cancellation of Admission For any reason if an applicant decides to cancel admission after payment of fee, then the refund will be as per AIC T E rules. Notice for the same will be displayed on the website / college notice board and applicant must read this before they pay the fees.
