Supporting fellow chapters We encourage our chapter members to visit and become involved with our fellow chapters and will post information regarding upcoming speakers as we become aware of them. Below is a list of upcoming meeting dates/topics: P2E We are awaiting the final rules for 2013-14 Pathways to Excellence. Once finalized we will include a copy of the link to the P2E criteria. The commitment form is the first step towards member of excellence. Our theme this year will be Race to Excellence. The new leader board will be available at our first meeting in August. The commitment form is not anticipated to change. Sign now and you will have 1/8 criteria already completed. Six members signed their commitment form at our July 13th meeting; will you be next? Rose Hernandez will be the chapters primary point of contact and Vicki Hahn, CAP-OM will be the secondary contact. Last year we started the year with nine members signing commitment letters. Six of the nine completed the journey. Great job everyone. There is still time to register and come to EFAM in Anaheim. Weve got a wonderful line-up of speakers mixed with fun, awards and a bit of dancing. We also have some serious issues facing us at this EFAM. I encourage all of you, whether a voting delegate or not, to read and understand the issues before us. We are at a crossroads with IAAPgrow or die. Change or become irrelevant. Again, I thank you for the opportunity to lead and serve you and the members of IAAP. I dont know what my future holds for me as I move to a new chapter of service. But, I can tell you that this has certainly been a memorable year. I hope that in some small way I have made a difference to you. You certainly made a huge difference to me. I look forward to welcoming many of you to southern California as we gather to connect, learn, lead, and excel, and celebrate the year. Annotation from your Chapter President, Vicki Hahn, CAP-OM: I hope that President Rannals message will resonate with you at some point in your IAAP participation. Every effort, big or small makes a difference, and small changes can have big results! Please continue to share your ideas, thoughts and time with us.
