We Are Growing!
Our April 22nd show was
wonderful. Thank you for
coming to watch us perform,
We have begun practicing
for our Moving Up Day
which will be June 19th.
We are working to achieve
our class goals. We are
using our word rings to learn
the words: bike, ring, sun
and ice.
Reader’s Workshop
In our literacy program, we are
reading “The Meanies” by Joy Cowley.
We are learning to use picture clues to
read words. We are also learning to
count the sounds in a word. We have
started writing class stories and
drawing pictures to match the words.
Parent Reminders

Don’t forget to read stories with

your child every day! Please make
sign notices and return them in a
Everyday Math timely fashion.
We are learning direct
comparisons of length.
At home we could compare
the different length of
objects such as ribbon,
pencils, and pretzels
and put them in size order.
