Pajama Top:
Step 1: Straps (You may use ribbon for straps if you like.) Fold strap pieces in half (Right sides together) and stitch. Turn straps to right side out. (Hint: When I do this I stitch the strap like this to make a tube with one end sewn together. This makes it really easy to turn. I use a small crochet hook to turn it right side out. Remove crochet hook, cut of end seam (to bulky) Now strap is open at both ends. Press strap flat and stitch any lace, ribbon or lace beading to pajama strap.) Step 2: Attach straps to upper pajama top. Right side of straps to right side of one piece of the upper pajama top. Step 3: Stitch second piece of pajama top to piece with straps attached. (Pajama top right sides together) Step 4: Clip corners of pajama top and turn to right side. Step 5: Stitch any lace trim on upper pajama top now. Step 6: If you are using Velcro, stitch in place now. (Make sure you stitch one piece on the right side and one on the wrong side) Step 7: Serge or zigzag across lower edge and sides of skirt. B1 of legend top diagram only. Step 8: Stitch lace to lower edge of skirt B11a and B11b. Add any other trim desired now. Step 9: Gather top edge of skirt B6. Gently gather top to same width as upper top of pajama. Step 10: Attach skirt of pajama top to upper pajama top. (Right sides together) B8a and B8b of legend. Step 11: Serge or zigzag across edge of seam just completed. Step 12: Stitch back of pajama top closed, leaving an opening at top of pajama top. Stitch about 2 - 2 1/2 from bottom edge up. Step 13: Tie bow and stitch to center front if desired. Step 14: If using snaps stitch them in place. Congratulations you are done, enjoy.
