    LELO Installs the Shannon Collins Memorial Garden

    LELO, the Walnut Avenue Womens Center, and volunteers from the Santa Cruz community In honor of Shannon Collins, who was murdered in May 2012, LELO is installing a Memorial Garden at the Walnut Avenue Womens Center. 303 Walnut Avenue Santa Cruz, CA 95060 October 5th 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Shannon Collins was a local business owner and beloved member of the Santa Cruz community. You may remember your coverage of Shannons life abruptly and violently ending in May 2012, but her legacy continues in the hearts of all who knew her. Shannon believed strongly in the healing power of gardening and the work that the Walnut Avenue Womens Center does for the community. This garden will honor Shannon Collins and provide peace and tranquillity to those in need. We have attached a newsletter regarding this installation.
