Should you be elected, what are three specific areas youd like to change, address, improve or further research, and how specifically would you go about it?: Area one: is the finances and accountability of the residents tax dollars. I have and will continue being accountable for all of the finances of the Township. I will continue to accomplish this by a series checks and balances which I do on a weekly basis. With the State of Ohios changes regarding the elimination of estate taxes and local government funding the Townships resources are becoming smaller, so it is important to continue to be fiscally responsible with the revenues we receive. My goal is to accomplish this as long as possible without a going to the voters for tax increase. Area two: is to protect and preserve our country way of living. This is accomplished

by continuing to up hold our large lot zoning. Area three: is to protect the health, safety and welfare of all the residents of Chester Township. I will continue to do this by supporting our Police, Fire and Road Departments to provide the best possible safety services to the residents. Whether for past accomplishments or future goals, why should voters elect you? Over my past eight years as a Township Trustee I have and will continue to work for all the residents in our community. Whether it is protecting our zoning from high density housing, or to addressing years of residential property flooding problems I am committed to resolving your issue and concerns. Marilyn Drive is an example. For over 50 years, storm run off would flood homes that at times, water would come in both the front and back doors of their houses. With the help of the Geauga County Engineers Office this problem is nearly resolved and will be completed by November of this year. As your current Township Trustee I have worked with State, and County agencies along with civic organizations and individuals to accomplish numerous improvements in our Township. From the expansion of the cemetery for the future needs, to eliminating the last dirt roads in the Township, the newly renovated Parkside Park and Town Hall parking lot. Working with Mrs. Hancock to donated over 2.75 acres of commercial property to the Township now known as the Hancock Park. To preserve and protect our county way of living by the placing of conservation easement on the township owned property known as the 80 acres. This easement allows for township recreation needs in the future and protects the residents from high density housing. The purchase of the Henry House located next to Parkside Park. This land and house is now part of the park which is the gem of our community. I have improved the infrastructure of the township by working with Geauga County Auditors Office. This resulted in all township computer records being stored on an off site back-up system. I have also improved numerous internal office procedures and fiscal accountability. I believe that if the voters in Chester Township want to protect and preserve their country living, then I am the person who you should vote for and I will continue to work for you.
