Should you be elected, what are three specific areas youd like to change, address, improve or further research, and how specifically would you go about it? I will work to build a partnership between our community and our elected representatives. Traditional methods of communication: mail, phone and city council meetings are excellent resources, but can be enhanced with email, a Facebook page and other social media. There is a great wealth of experience that resides in our community that I will tap into. Whether its the retired neighbor that has lived in Mentor -on-the-Lake for over 40 years or the family that just bought their first home, everyone has valuable ideas about our town. I will work with the business community to build a network of communication to address their needs and concerns and promote a progressive atmosphere to entice new businesses to our community. I will review city ordinances and standard operating procedures to see how we can help enrich our community. Whether for past accomplishments or future goals, why should voters elect you? We are all neighbors and this is our neighborhood. I have proudly served Mentor-on-the-Lake the past few years through my appointment to the Parks and Recreation Department by Mayor John Rogers and by participating in many volunteer activities with the Mentor-on-the-Lake Fire Department. Through these opportunities I have deepened my commitment to enriching the Mentor-on-the-Lake community. Today I ask for your vote to allow me the privilege to serve you to increase the collective contributions of our community members to enhance Mentor-on-the-Lake for many years to come.
