# 1-FARD the fard will precede the recommended deed and all recommended deeds are muallaq (suspended)

) until the fard is fulfilled. This is a principle derived from many evidences from the Qur'an and Sunnah, Among them includes the well known ahadith about the man who used to pray nawaafil while his mother would call him, the prophet (saw) said about him that he was a good worshipper but if he was faqeeh, he would have cut his salah and responded to his mother. Also the prophet (saw) ordered women not to fast nafilah without the permission of her husband, even to break the nafilah fast if her husband calls her for intimacy. Plus the ahadith when the prophet (saw) was asked about the salah, fasting etc, he would lay down the fard and then when he asked more, set that if you only add to that voluntarily you can do extra salah. And the hadith qudsi that the slave first worships Allah by fulfilling his obligatory duties and then adds to that with voluntary deeds until Allah loves him. It cannot be the other way round. An example is for example the rich man who paid sadaqah but refused to pay his zakat - he will be sinful and he must understand the priorities are to pay his zakat and sadaqah is less priority. note: There is a difference between Waajib Muwassa' and Waajib Mudayyaq - the former is a duty that has some leeway and enough time to fulfill later, whereas the latter is one that does not have enough time to do later and so must be done immediately - e.g. if someone was praying 2 rak'ah nafilah before fajr while the fard jama'ah started, there is still enough time for him to pray his nafilah and join the jama'ah or even pray the fard after if he missed the jama'ah. However if he was praying naafilah during the first rak'ah of Salatul Jumu'ah - that is not correct as the jumu'ah salah can only be prayed with the jama'ah behind the imam, he cannot delay it.

# 2- MEDICINE - mouthwash that contains alcohol taken for medicine, will not break the wudu, it is permissible as a medicine and alcohol is not najasah Haqiqiyyah Allah created cure for all diseases and he permitted the use of things that are normally haram for medicine. Intoxicants are not a cure but are a poison - so drinking alcohol or smoking cannabis is not a cure, however if these chemicals are used in the process of making a medicine with other chemicals, it is allowed to use it. However it should be a trustworthy doctor that prescribed that medicine for your illness - it is not to be used if you are healthy or do not need that medicine

--what about listerin that mouth water that contains alcohol? --only if prescribed as a treatment for an illness by trustworthy doctor. --Is smoking cannabis ok for people who are in severe pain, multiple schlerosis, athritis, cancer etc? --no, but if they made painkillers and one of the ingredients included something like cannabis, it is allowed. # 3-FREEMIXING it is not allowed to freemix at a school even to become a doctor, if it is segregated it is acceptable, or if it is Islamic and there is mixing only men at the front and women at the back for example and they teach it according to islam, it is allowed. men in one row (LEFT) then place to go through and on the other row women (RIGHT), is that allowed.? --yes it is allowed.though still only if there is islamic based medical education in the class and not kufr based education. Note: women must wear proper khimaar & jilbaab and even better with niqaab. and no make up or perfume of course! And lowering the voice is purer! what about an unislamic state where schooling is co-educational like in europe(e.g U.S.A)? --That is what the question and answer was addressing - there is no exception for schooling in the west or east. The whole world is Dar ul Harb today, i.e. unislamic states. But don't we need Muslim doctors especially GPs with the issue of awrah of muslim women when getting examined etc? --We need doctors, we need engineers, we need teachers, we need nurses and we are needy for universities that don't force you to disobey Allah to learn about these things. That doesn't make freemixing there permissible. It is permissible to learn some things from a kafir, even in a school but to learn about things that will corrupt your aqeedah and to freemix with them in the process is not allowed. Those are 2 different things.

# 4- DAZZLING it is allowed for a woman to wear a nose ring as long as it does not become imitation of the kuffar and it is nothing to do with the deen of the kuffar up to the age of puberty, if she is older she must cover it in public with the niqaab because it will become tabarruj if it is seen. -----------------------AWRAH - The niqab is fard upon the musilm women in certain circumstances, if those circumstances are established on any person, it becomes obligation, if the Khalifah orders it, if she lives in a place where everybody covers her face she must cover to prevent people from doubting her or backbiting her, or if she is pretty and she believes that men will be struck with fitnah by her or the men fear Allah and look to the faces of women or if she is being targeted by people in particular she will cover it as an obligation. It is not obligation by itself but by

circumstances, whereas the khimar and jilbaab is fard upon every muslim women as soon as she is mature. MAHRAM the step father is mahram in terms of marriage being prohibited, but is not mahram in terms of awrah or freemixing SALAH a woman must uncover her face during salah unless she has the permit. If she is for example praying in a public prayer room and men keep looking over the screen, she has the permit to cover her face. Also if she is praying alone, and a man enters to the room or the next room while she is praying, i.e. in khalwah, she should cut her salah. The prophet (saw) said, "Whenever a man and a woman are alone together the third with them is shaytan (have khalwah)" - it is not permitted to have khalwah with a foreign man and if that happened during salah, she must exit her salah and leave the room.
