Description: The client is APTD (Andhra Pradesh Transport Department) in Andhra Pradesh,
India. Rassi Enterprise Solutions.Ltd., is leading Software Company in INDIA, providing
Software solutions & Maintenance. Sreeven Infocom Pvt.Ltd.,is deal with the database
maintenance part of the project.

This system (CFST) completely automates APTD activities, Issuing

Fresh/Duplicate/Renewal Driving Licence, Registration of Vehicles, Registration Operations.
It also involves in issuing Road Permits.

The main aim of the project is automation of APTD activities, fast issuing of Licence,
and Centralising complete state data in one central Database. By using Bsnl leased line to
establish the connection between the Central Server at Hyderabad and the remaining
centres, which are located at remote places. This project is also planned to establish online
information scrutiny at check posts, so that the taxes or punishments to the vehicle owners
can be levied on the spot.
 Responsibilities

 Managing of Table space for different users by granting quota on Default Table space and
managing Temporary Table spaces.
 Making Database Server available to Production operators by creating database alias
using TCP/IP addresses of Database Servers.
 Manage file system disk space, resizing data files.
 Managing Redo log files in archive log mode for online backup.
 Planning & implementation of Backup & Recovery strategy.
 Recovering database while media failure occurs.
 Taking logical backups using export utility.
 Reorganizing the database
 Monitoring tablespace growth and coalesce tablespaces to minimize fragmentation.
 Cloning the database using previous cold backup.
 Monitoring database alert log files.
 As well as monitor and create additional table space and file space as needed.
