    Liar Game!! Worksheets created to supplement the するために explanation of (do) A TO (do) B e.g. Go to London to go shopping. Initial example has three sentences. One is a LIE! This is demonstrated with JTE. Very simple sentences. The vocabulary `lie` is introduced, and `liar!` More difficult sentences are then used.. using the recently taught grammar. Students LISTEN and have to choose/vote on the false sentence. Try to elicit the phrase `I think xxx is a lie`. If listening starts to falter, the students can be handed the sheets and follow written English with the sentences presented orally by ALT. Students can translate into Japanese should the JTE be into that idea (they generally like this!) Second half, the example sentence from New Horizons is conjugated for different subjects he/she/they... since they aren`t in the book and students don`t pick up on the need for this by themselves. Students can create three sentences of their own. One should be false. The confident students can then present their Liar game to the class. The idiom "pants on fire" is presented with an image on this sheet. If there is time this can be explained by the ALT with help from JTE.
