O R D E R:

In the G.O. first read above, orders were issued enhancing kilometer
wise rate for maintenance of roads subject to the condition to rounding the
odd figure to the lower multiple of Rs.5,000/- i.e. for single lane road as
Rs.15,000/-, for double lane road as Rs.20,000/- and for other multilane road
as Rs.20,000/-.

2. In his letter second read above, the Chief Engineer (R&B) & Managing
Director, Andhra Pradesh Road Development Corporation has stated that the
estimate does not reflect the actual needs of the road leading to under
maintenance of the road. If the Kilometer wise rates rounded off to nearest
multiples of Rs.500/-, it will be appropriate and realistic. He has therefore
requested to consider rounding off the odd figure to the lower multiple of
Rs.500/- instead of Rs.5,000/-.

3. Government after careful examination of the matter have decided to

agree with the proposal of the Chief Engineer (R&B) & Managing Director,
Andhra Pradesh Road Development Corporation to round off the odd figure to
the lower multiple of Rs.500/-.

4. The Chief Engineer (R&B) CRN & Managing Director, Andhra Pradesh Road
Development Corporation shall take further action, accordingly.

5. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr.PW) Department

vide their U.O.No. 023441/984/A2/Expr.PWD/09, dated 11-9-2009.
