F. Landslide Areas
Landslides occurred in Mt Province-Cagayan via Tabuk (Tangalan section) – closed to traffic, CAR; Brgy. San Juan-Banyo, Arayat, Pampanga in Region IIIBrgy. Bongalon, Sangay, Camarines Sur in Region V;
Tagaytay-Taal Road,and Tagaytay-Talisay Road in Cavite; and Antipolo-Teresa Road andSumulong Highway in RizalG. Road Status (Tab C)
Fifty (50) road sections in Regions II, III, IV and CAR are either impassable tolight vehicles and/or all types of vehicles
II. NATIONAL ACTIONS
The Secretary of National Defense and Chairman, NDCC in a Press Briefingthis afternoon, declared a State of National Calamity in the following areas inview of the extensive effects of Tropical Storm “Ondoy”:- The whole of National Capital Region (NCR)- CAR: Mt. Province, Ifugao and Benguet

- Region I: Pangasinan, La Union and Ilocos Sur- Region II: Isabela, Quirino and Nueva Vizcaya- Region III: Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Zambales, Pampanga, Bulacan,Tarlac and Bataan- Region IV-A: Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon- Region IV-B: Mindoro (Occidental and Oriental) and Marinduque- Region V: Catanduanes, Camarines Norte and Camarines Sur
NDCC-OPCEN has been continuously coordinating with AFP CommandCenter and emergency responders of respective areas for the conduct ofimmediate search and rescue operations in various flooded/critical areas inMetro Manila: Manila City, Marikina City, Malabon City, Muntinlupa City,Quezon City, Makati City, Pasay City, Pasig City, Valenzuela City and SanJuan City; Central Luzon (Bulacan); and Region IV-A (Rizal Provinceparticularly San Mateo, Cainta, Tanay, Angono, Taytay, Baras, Montalban andAntipolo City)
Secretary of Department of National Defense and Chairman, NDCC issued anNDCC Circular to Chairmen of RDCCs I, II, III and CAR directing them toundertake necessary response measures to avoid loss of lives and destructionof properties
NDCC established an Advance Command Post (ACP) at Katipunan Avenuecor. Araneta Boulevard, Marikina City. The over-all commander is Hon. MayorMaridel Fernando while the Incident Commanders are Mr. Robert Nacencianoand Mr. Ramon Santiago of MMDA
DOH activated all DOH CHD’s operations center 24 hours/7days withcontinuous coordination with theLGUs concerned and prepositioned drugs andmedicines in all areas affected
 
 
DSWD’s on-going interventions are activation of the Quick Responseand Social Welfare and Disaster (QR/SWAD) teams to provide technicalassistance to the disaster-affected local government units (LGUs) ondisaster operations; provided PhP635,056.00 worth of relief goodsconsisting of food and non-food commodities to the affected families;and prepositioned stand-by funds, family food packs and stockpile ofrelief commodities composed of food and non-food amounting toPhP19,981,158.35 by the field offices concerned along the typhoon path,ready for additional augmentation/assistance whenever necessary
 
PNRC rescued 282 persons and provided relief assistance to the victim
 
National Grid Corporation of the Philippines is conducting powerrestoration in various damaged sub-stations (S/S) in Region III (Botolan,Zambales (77.18%), Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija (79.51%), ConcepcionTarlac (12:66%), Cruz na Daan.
