From the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters to the fast food workers of today, the fight for civil rights has been deeply intertwined with the fight for workers rights. Join the Pulpit Forum, the Youth & Student Coalition for Police Accountability, the Beloved Community Center and Raise Up for 15 for a forum exploring the ways in which the past is shaping our present campaigns by highlighting fast food workers current efforts to build their union, the national movement for $15/hr, as well as upcoming plans for Freedom Summer. Sponsored by the Pulpit Forum, Youth & Student Coalition for Police Accountability, the Beloved Community Center & Raise Up for 15
