Amendment Continues to Grow A recent poll conducted by Anzalone Liszt Grove1 finds that Oregon voters are more supportive of the freedom to marry than ever before. Likely November voters say they would vote for the constitutional amendment that would allow gay and lesbian couples to legally marry, 55% yes 41% no.

The 14-point margin in favor of marriage equality is a 6-point increase from where voters were just this past summer, and a 10-point increase from where voters stood before the last election.

Anzalone Liszt Grove Research conducted a statewide survey of 600 likely 2014 voters in Oregon by telephone. Interviews were conducted Feb. 10-13, 2014. The margin of error for the sample as a whole is plus or minus 4.0 percentage points at the 95% level of confidence. The margin of error for subgroups varies and is higher.
