Understanding frozen-food packets


Jim has been shopping and needs help deciding where to store his food. He lives in a block of flats where he can use three different freezers or a fridge, which has an ice-making compartment, to store his food. Read the descriptions next to Jims shopping and decide where he should store the food. Frozen prawns, which hell eat within one month.

*** Freezer. Food can be stored at -18C or below until the best before date.

A frozen pizza, which should be eaten within one week.

Fresh ham, which wont be frozen. It should be eaten within two days.

Fridge ice-making compartment. Frozen food can be stored at -6C for three days. Main part of fridge. Food can be stored at 5C.

Frozen hamburgers, which hell eat tomorrow.

A fresh chicken, which he wants to freeze and will eat within one month.
