exterior unit. 17 OUTPUT L& R This is the standard analog output (RCA jacks) which can be connected either to a phono or line input on any DJ mixer, depending on the setting of the phono / line selector.

1 START/STOP Press this button to start or stop the platter. 2 PLATTER 3 MOTOR OFF Press the button to enable motor off, and the led will be flash . Press the button again to disable function. 4 TARGET LIGHT Insert target light to the deck and it will light up. 5 PLATTER REVOLUTION SPEEDS (rpm) 33 rpm Press 33 45 rpm Press 45 (Only DX-101 USB) 78 rpm Press 33 and 45 buttons simultaneously. To return to 33 or 45rpm play mode just press the desired button. 6 REVERSE This button is used to reverse the direction of the platter rotation. 7 HEAD SHELL LOCKING NUT Attach the headshell by inserting into the front end of the tone arm, then turn the locking nut clockwise with the head shell firmly held horizontally. 8 PITCH SLIDER Use this to change the speed of the platter when the PITCH indicator is NOT lit. 9 TONE ARM This is a fully manual tone arm. To start playback, gently place the stylus on the record using the headshell finger support. Do not drop the stylus onto the record as it may cause damage to the diamond tip and to the record. 10 45 RPM ADAPTOR Place on center spindle for playing 7 records with large center holes. 11 ANTI SKATE KNOB When a record is playing, a force is generated drawing the stylus towards the center of the record. Set this knob to the same value as the stylus pressure to offset this force. 12 COUNTERWEIGHT Use this to balance the tone arm and to adjust the stylus pressure. 13 POWER SWITCH This switch turns the power on or off, including the motor and audio signal 14 POWER CORD CONNECTOR Used to connect the included power cord. 15 USB CONNECTOR USB connection (USB cable limit within 3M). 16 PHONO/LINE SWITCH This is a switchable phono level or 'line level' output (using RCA jacks) which can be connected to the phono or 'line' input on an

stylus protector to guard the stylus tip from damage. Cartridge manufacturers usually specify the proper setting of this.

12 COUNTERWEIGHT Adjustment creates the proper downward pressure of the stylus to the record. Attach now by sliding the counterweight onto the rear of the tone arm. Twist it lightly and it will screw onto the rear shaft of the tone arm.
a. Remove the stylus protective cover, if so equipped. Never touch the stylus tip during the adjustment. b. Lower the tonearm lever. c. Release the tonearm clamp and release the tonearm from the arm rest. d. Set the anti-skate adjustment to zero e. Rotate the counterweight in either direction until the tonearm is perfectly balanced horizontally (floats freely). f. Return the tonearm to the arm rest and lock it in place. g. Hold the counterweight stationary with one hand and rotate only the stylus pressure ring to bring the number 0 of the ring into alignment with the center line on the tonearm rear shaft. h. Rotate the counterweight clockwise until the scale value corresponding to the recommend stylus pressure Note: The recommended stylus pressure of the optional cartridge that may have been includ-ed with your unit is 2 grams. For all other cartridge systems please refer to the manufactures specification included with the cartridge.

1. P ush the power to on and the speed indicator and the stylus illuminator will light up. 2. Insert target light for illumination the stylus. 3. Place a record on the turntable mat. When playing a 45rpm record with a large centre hole; place the 45rpm adapter on the centre spindle. 4. Set the rotation speed (33/45/78) to match the record. 5. Release the arm clamp. 6. Set the cueing lever to the up position. 7. Press the Start/Stop button and the turntable platter will start to rotate. 8. Move the tone arm over the desired groove. 9. Set the cueing lever to the down position, the tone arm will descend slowly onto. The record and play begins. 10. Set the desired pitch adjusts range by depressing the buttons until the desired pitch is reached. Options are +/-10%. 11. Adjust the pitch to a desirable speed. 12. To suspend play, lift tone arm with cueing lever. 13. When play is finished, raise the cueing lever, move the tone arm to the armrest and secure the tone arm with the arm clamp. 14. Press the Start/Stop button to stop the platter rotating. 15. Turn the power dial to turn off the power. 6. Push the Power button to off. R E C O R D I N G O N A U S B M E M O RY (PENDRIVE o HARD DISK) RECORD a. Insert a flash-disk (e.g.memory stick, MP3 player) into the USB slot b. Position the stylus at the track you want to record c. Press the play/pause button to pause the recordplayer d. Press the record/stop button and wait until the LED will flash (this may take several seconds depending on the contents on the flash-disk) e. Press the play/pause button to resume playing the track f. Press the record/stop button to stop the recording process g. The track is now stored on the flash disk as an 192kbps MP3 file, tracks will be numbered in sequence and placed into a folder called audio

- Clean the stylus periodically with a soft brush to prevent the accumulation of dust. - When the sound becomes distorted or noisy, check the stylus. If worn out, replace it with a new one. - From time to time,the dust cover and turntable cabinet should be wiped with a soft and dry cloth. - Any volatile materials such as alcohol, thinner, benzine, etc., may remove the paint or damage the lustre, please avoid.

PLAYBACK BELTASSEMBLY Turning the platter over, connect the belt to the turntable drive. Place the platter on the spindle and spin the platter until the belt position holes (the two larger holes nearest to the belt) are showing the motor drive shaft in the top right corner. When this is exposed, carefully stretch the belt around the shaft, ensuring that the belt does not twist. The platter should still spin freely, but with slightly more resistance than before.

Presione otra vez para anular el paro. 4 LUZ PARAILUMINACIN DE LA AGUJA Inserte la luz en su conexin y se encender, apunte a la aguja. 5 SELECCIN DE VELOCIDAD DE GIRO (rpm) 33 rpm Presione 33 45 rpm Presione 45 78 rpm Presione los botones 33 y 45 simultneamente. Para volver al modo de velocidad 33 45 rpm simplemente presione el botn adecuado. 6 CONTROLDE SENTIDO DE GIRO Utilcelo para escoger el sentido de giro. 7 ROSCADE BLOQUEO DELPORTACAPSULAS Inserte el porta cpsulas en el extremo del brazo. Gire la rosca en el sentido de las agujas de reloj manteniendo el porta cpsulas firme en posicin horizontal 8 AJUSTE DE VELOCIDAD PITCH Utilcelo para variar la velocidad de giro del plato. 9 BRAZO Es completamente manual. Para iniciar la reproduccin de un disco site la aguja en la superficie del disco utilizando el brazo del porta cpsulas. No suelte bruscamente el brazo, podra daar el disco y la aguja. 10 ADAPTADOR A 45 RPM Sitelo alojado en el centro del eje para reproducir aquellos discos que lo precisen. 11 CONTROL ANTI-PATINAMIENTO (ANTI-SKATE) Al reproducir un disco una fuerza es generada atrayendo la cpsula hacia el centro de rotacin del disco. Para contrarrestar esta fuerza acte sobre el control anti-patinamiento. Los fabricantes de cpsulas acostumbran a proporcionar el valor de Anti-Skate adecuado para cada modelo. 12 CONTRAPESO Su ajuste proporciona la fuerza descendente adecuada para el trabajo de la aguja sobre el disco. 13 PUESTAEN MARCHADELEQUIPO 14 CONECTOR PARACABLE DE RED Conecte aqu el cable de red. 15 CONECTOR USB Conecte aqu el USB (el cable debe medir alrededor de 3M). 16 CONMUTADOR PHONO/LINE Seleccione la posicin de este conmutador en funcin del tipo de seal (Phono o Lnea) que quiere en la salida RCA(17).

Conecte los cables al terminal de la cpsula. La mayora de los cables estn codificados por colores. Conecte cada cable al terminal del mismo color: Blanco (L+), canal izquierdo + Azul (L-), canal izquierdo Rojo (R+), canal derecho + Verde (R-), . canal derecho 9 BRAZO METLICO TIPO S 18 ELEVADOR DELBRAZO Permite elevar el brazo por encima de la superficie del disco. 11 CONTROLANTI-PATINAMIENTO (ANTI-SKATE) Aplica una fuerza al brazo tal que lo hace girar hacia el interior contrarrestando la fuerza centrfuga propia del giro. De este modo evitamos que el brazo se desplace hacia fuera por encima del disco. Los fabricantes de cpsulas acostumbran a proporcionar el valor de Anti-Skate adecuado para cada modelo..

12 CONTRAPESO Su ajuste proporciona la fuerza descendente

adecuada para el trabajo de la aguja sobre el disco. Montaje del contrapeso: encaje el contrapeso en el extremo posterior del Brazo, grelo y enrsquelo. Ajuste del punto cero (0) del balance horizontal y de la presin de la aguja. A. Retire el protector de la aguja sin tocar sta. B. Disponga la palanca (18) tal que el brazo est en su posicin ms baja. C. Retire el seguro que inmoviliza el brazo y djelo en posicin de libre movimiento. D. Manipule el contrapeso hasta que el brazo est nivelado horizontalmente (flotar un poco). E. Vuelva a inmovilizar el brazo con el seguro. Manteniendo el contrapeso inmvil, gire la escala de ste hasta que el punto cero est alineado con la marca coaxial del brazo. F. Gire el contrapeso en el sentido de las agujas del reloj hasta que la escala muestre el valor de presin correspondiente a la aguja utilizada. En el caso de la aguja que se proporciona con el equipo el valor es 2g.

19 CONECTOR USB Conectamos un Pendrive o un HDD (disco duro) para almacenar/guardar la grabacin, a travs de USB, de archivos MP3 slo. 20 SELECTOR VELOCIDAD DELPLATO Podemos seleccionar entre 33 rpm y 45 rpm. 21 CONTROLDE GRABACIN Presione el botn para comenzar a grabar y vuelva a presionar para parar la grabacin.

7 PORTA CPSULAS Instale la cpsula aqu. Al instalarla siga las instrucciones proporcionadas por el fabricante de sta. Durante la instalacin disponga el protector de la aguja para evitar desperfectos en la misma.

FUNCIONAMIENTO DX-101USB
1. Accione el botn de puesta en marcha. El indicador de velocidad y la luz del estroboscopio se encendern. 2. Inserte la luz de punto de aguja. 3. Ponga un disco en la alfombrilla, en caso de ser un disco a 45 r.p.m. Deber situar el adaptador encajndolo en el tetn central. 4. Escoja el valor de velocidad de giro adecuado al disco que va a reproducir (33/45/78) . 5. Retire el protector de la aguja y libere el brazo. 6. Disponga la palanca elevacin/descenso tal que el brazo est levantado. 7. Presione el botn Start/Stop, el plato comenzar a girar. 8. Site el brazo encima de la pista que desea comenzar a reproducir. SOFTWARE AUDACITY DX-101 USB se suministra con el software AUDACITY de grabacin. AUDACITY es un software libre mediante licencia GNU, GPL (General Public Licence). Ms informacin y un cdigo de fuente abierto estn disponibles en la Web http://audacity.sourceforge.net. Asegrese de instalar el software antes de comenzar a utilizar el equipo. Prepare su ordenador para trabajar con Audacity 1. Conecte una fuente de entrada a su unidad 2. Conecte el cable USB a su ordenador 3. Instale el software Audacity 4. Abra el programa Audacity 5. Seleccione Preference en la persiana Edit en el men de Audacity

GRABAR CONAUDACITY 1. Salvar un proyecto Audacity almacena todos los archivos de audio grabados o modificados en el directorio Projectname_data, situado donde guard el proyecto As pues seleccione Save Project As de la barra FILE deAudacity y escoja carpeta y nombre para su proyecto Por favor note que al iniciar Audacity solo la opcin SaveAs... del menu est disponible

GUARDAR ARCHIVOS COMO MP3 El programa Audacity guarda directamente la msica convertida en Wav y Ogg Vorbis. Para guardar la msica convertida como MP3 necesita, para Windows el archivo "lame_enc.dll" y para Mac OS9 o X el archivo "LameLib. Como Obtenerlos para Windows & Mac OSX: Acceda a la pgina de descarga LAME en http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/faq?s=install& item=lame-mp3&lang=es Windows -Aplica clic en cualquier liga de la lista de ligas "lame-3.96.1" idnticas. -Cuando hayas finalizado la descarga de LAME, expndelo y guarda al archivo lame_enc.dll en cualquier lugar de tu ordenador. -La primera ocasin que emplees al comando "Exportar como MP3...", Audacity te preguntar donde se encuentra almacenado lame_enc.dll. Mac OSX -Descarga la versin de LameLib para tu sistema operativo. -Cuando hayas finalizado la descarga, usa Stuffit Expander para extraer los archivos. Cuando la reproduccin ha terminado, levante el brazo mediante la palanca de elevacin/descenso y fjelo en su posicin de reposo. 14. Accione el botn Start/Stop para que el plato deje de girar. 15. Presione el botn de encendido para desconectar el aparato. Prepare su DX-101 USB para reproducir la cancin o lbum que desee grabar 6. Seleccione Audio I/O arriba a la izquierda En modo Playback, seleccione su targeta de sonido interna En modo Recording, seleccione USB Audio CODEC En modo Recording, Seleccione Channels (2 Stereo) Marque la casilla Play other tracks while recording new one Marque la casilla Software Play through Haga Click en el botn rojo Record para comenzar a grabar. Baje el brazo del giradiscos en la pista o lbum seleccionado. Haga Click en el botn azul Pause para interrumpir la grabacin. Vuelva a presionarlo para continuar la grabacin Haga Click en el botn amarillo Stop para parar la grabacin. La cancin o lbum ya estn grabados. Explore las capacidades de edicin de Audacity con los temas grabados Recuerde que puede utilizar la funcin Undo casi sin restriccin cuando un proyecto est abierto. Nota: El software Audacity no permite grabar CDs directamente. Utilice cualquiera de los numerosos software disponibles para ste propsito

Presione el botn Start/Stop, el plato 7. comenzar a girar. G. La pista/s se ha grabado a 192kbps en su memoria USB como fichero MP3. Las pistas grabadas se numerarn consecutivamente y se almacenarn en una carpeta con el nombre AUDIO. C. Presione el botn PLAY/PAUSE para parar la rotacin del plato. D. Presione el botn RECORD/STOP (21) hasta que el LED empiece a parpadear (esta operacin puede llevar algunos segundos en funcin del contenido de la memoria USB utilizada).

MANTENIMIENTO
- No use cerca del equipo sustancias voltiles como el alcohol, gasolina etc. Estos podran daar el acabado superficial de ste. - Limpie la aguja peridicamente con un cepillo suave para evitar la acumulacin de polvo. - En caso de que el sonido pierda calidad, verifique que la aguja est en perfectas condiciones. En caso contrario Reemplcela. MONTAJE DE LACORREA Site la correa en el crculo del reverso del plato. Encaje el plato en su posicin normal. Grelo hasta que uno de los dos agujeros coincida con el eje de traccin, situado en la parte superior derecha tal como se indica en la figura. Manipule con el dedo pulgar la correa situndola en la parte exterior del eje de traccin (tenga mucho cuidado en no doblar la correa). El plato deber girar libremente.
