The Victory...
Ive had the joy of teaching Sunday school these past few months. Showing tiny, eager faces how to pray and slowly watching them discuss the Bible for the first time, has blessed me beyond words. It occurs to me only now that Ive never before been able to (successfully) teach Sunday School on any other mission field. Language or time constraints always got in the way. So now... I marvel. I praise Him! For He has satisfied this yearning with much joy. And though my language skills are not perfect, I bluster on. The kids dont seem to mind and only now and again bother to correct me. ---Its fun! But more than that, Im now Oh, if we could only remember seeing the Bible with new eyes; as that it is by His power that we have some things are better expressed in victory! Victory against sin. Victory other languages. over evil. Victory in the battles of For instance in English, Psalm life. 118:16 describes how the right Think of that! Running to Win...
I wont ramble on about the many and continuing obstacles Ive faced in opening the clinic and getting my papers approved. I will, however, ask those interested in a hearty laugh and a lengthy tale go to my recent blog post about it. I mention it also to say that Im still running the race --looking for that victors crown. Pray that I run the race not only to win... but to glorify Him in the process. If I ever needed your prayers before, I need

Praise & Prayer

Clinic Repairs
The number of obstacles in repairing the clinic seem monstrous at times, but then every now and again I lift my head and realize its so improved! The waiting room is plastered; a new drainage system is in place; and now the ceilings are being replaced. Yippy! Praise God!

them even more so now. Please pray for this last leg of the race to be run well and for me not to lose heart or faint. Thanks.

Chicken! Chicken!
The first batch of chickens have all sold! All 600 of them! The second batch initially had problem (lots died for strange reasons), but happily they are thriving now. Pray theyll remain healthy and be profitable.

Whats a happening...
My life has been pretty busy this month. Here is life in bullet format. Enjoy! Went to Maputo and battled over papers. Succeeded somewhat. Started selling chickens which means earlier than normal mornings! There is no joke in the expression up with the chickens! Ha Ha! Fixed my car (again) which seemed determined to rattle apart on these dusty farm roads! Its working well now. Fixed my bathroom sink and painted. Fun! Fun! Fun! Planning to buy more chickens (but layers instead of broilers this time). So Ive been preparing a new site for them and praying about who to hire. Cant wait for fresh eggs! Praying about getting a grinding mill started next (for more income and to facilitate chicken feed). Pray it comes together well. Praying about when to take my next furlough. Please pray with me. :- )

Nurse Needs:
Looking back over past newsletters, Im surprised to realize that Ive been praying (and asking you all to pray) for a nurse for well over a year now. Sigh. So far, Ive interviewed two nurses but neither are adequate. Pray for an evangelist/nurse to come.

Paper Debacle
The lack of progress in my paperwork has become so ridiculous, I can only laugh. That... and well, try to ignore it. I might have to start the process over again. Please pray for me, as Ill find out more later this week.
