In the present, art in Australia varies, just as like any other country, fromliterature, fine arts, theater and music. These art forms develop through timeas technology advances at the same time -- this is where media, film anddigital art comes in. It is important to point out that art is an importantaspect of any country’s culture, and is also considered as their valuedtradition and national asset. Though for a long time, Federal government hadbeen funding Australian artist, but the problem of Australia is not with theirarts itself, or the lack of support they have with this artist sector, but theabsence of identifying their cultural identity as a nation - an identity that,which is deeply rooted in the tradition and values. As such case, a lack of policy that creates a realm of a supportive environment of the governmentto the art sector is still on a debate.
