Welcome to the 22nd Annual Winter Wonderland Auction!
The elves have been busy getting ready for the Newman Catholic Schools 22nd
annual Winter Wonderland Auction. There are over 800 reasons why this auction is a
wonderful event, and each reason, each individual student, is a beautiful reflection of the
work we accomplish together in order to help our students have a great year of Catholic
education. Please join us tonight in helping to sustain our outstanding Catholic school
system by reaching this year’s goal of $200,000. Proceeds from tonight’s festivities
support the educational programs in the current 2009-2010 operating budget.
You are invited to be a part of this exceptional opportunity to support our current
Newman Catholic School students, and your help is needed to accomplish our goal. Your
unyielding generosity ensures the continued success of our educational mission and
helps Newman Catholic Schools in providing that special gift of Catholic education to all
of our students. Thanks to all of our parents, supporters and staff for the numerous hours
of work that has been offered to make tonight special.
This is a great time to start your holiday shopping. As you place your bids and
participate in the various raffles, you continue the legacy. For over 22 years, our annual
auction has helped to provide a Catholic school education to thousands of students. It’s
fun to see that some of our earliest students are now NCS parents; the legacy continues.
That is a record all of us can be proud of.
Here’s to another exciting auction! Have fun, share in fellowship, bid often, and
bid higher. Come on in and join the fun as we Welcome the Holidays in the 22nd year of a
Magical Winter Wonderland!
On behalf of the Faculty, Staff and Students of Newman Catholic Schools, thank you for
your support.

Newman Catholic High School Athletic Fields Project approved! – Ground broken!
Soccer field, Track & Football field
Mark Watson and committee launched work on this dream over three years ago. We are here tonight to celebrate
the ground breaking of the athletic fields renovation project at Newman Catholic High School. This special project
was made possible by the work of many; but especially committed to see this project come to fruition was our
good friend, former colleague and president of Newman Catholic Schools Mr. Mark Watson.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all parents, parishioners and
benefactors who have shared their resources and made this dream a reality!
Help Fund Football goals or Team Benches with your bid tonight.
Thanks to a generous $500 grant from Catholic Knights Insurance,
St. Michael Parish, Branch 66 we’re on our way.
