Beach volley action continues on Labor Day weekend

NESTEA welcomes the sizzling season with the return of the most exciting beach volleyball competition in the country. LRTA announces Holy Week schedule

IN OBSERVANCE of the Lenten Season, the Light Rail Transit (LRT) Authority announced today its operating schedules for the LRT 1 and 2 systems from April 16 to 20. Commercial operations of Line 1 on April 16, Holy Wednesday will be until 8 p.m. only, while Line 2 will be shut down at 8:30 p.m. LRT 1 and 2 operations will also be suspended from April 17 to 20, to give way to the annual maintenance works for the two lines which will include, among others, the general cleaning and checking of the trains, LRT facilities, systems and equipment and replacement of catenary wires. Normal operations of Lines 1 and 2 will resume on April 21, Monday at 5 a.m. The LRTs Line 1 runs from Baclaran in Pa s a y C i t y t o Ro osevelt in Quezon City, while Line 2 stretches from C.M. Recto Avenue in Manila to Santolan in Pasig City.
