Dear Mr. Copenhaver,

Thank you for your email to SHA concerning the project to replace the MD 7 Bridge over James Run and
I apologize for the delay in getting back to you.

The bridge will be closed to traffic on or after 9 a.m. this Saturday, June 14 for the summer and there will
be a detour route for through traffic using MD 7 between Abingdon and Belcamp. Signs will direct
through travelers to use US 40. All local driveways and intersections on MD 7 north and south of the
bridge will be open during construction.

Below is a press release with details of the bridge replacement project and I have attached a .pdf of the
detour map.
