VBS Rooms
Please be understanding on June 22 as many of the Sunday School
rooms will be decorated for Vacation Bible School. This will also be a
great reminder to pray for VBS which will start that evening and run
through Wednesday, June 25.
I dont have to tell you how busy the month of June will be
with Merge Camp, VBS and special services. I do want to remind
you of the opportunities for some special events that affect the
whole church.
Our regular quarterly Church Conference will be held on
Wednesday evening the 18th. We will hold this in the sanctuary at
7PM. Come and be a part of the working of the church.
Sunday evening, June 22, our evening worship service will
be moved to 8PM. This one time event is to coincide with the VBS
rally that night. What a great opportunity for our children to see the
dedication of our adults in worship. What a witness to the parents
of VBS attendees that our church cares for their children. That
promises to be an exciting service.
On Sunday evening we have been invited to worship with
the Eldorendo Baptist Church and to share a fellowship meal
following the service. Our own Saints Alive will bring the special
music that evening. We hope to take the big bus and plan to have a
great time of worship.
Continue to pray for our nominating committee as they seek
Gods people of leadership for the coming year.
I look forward to seeing you this Sunday.

Paul

ROBERT ROBINSON
I want to take a moment to honor the memory of my friend
and co-minister Robert Robinson. It has been a real joy to
have known Robert for the last 10 years of his ministry. He
was a friend who will be missed. See you in heaven, brother.
SAINTS ALIVE
Thanks for another time of faithfulness as you all led in wor-
ship last Sunday evening. In addition to having a great time in
the Lord, you are great examples of leaders here at FBC!
This weeks ministry concert took us to Riverside Place and
Bainbridge Healthcare for 2 great concerts. The singing was
awesome and the reception by the staff and residents was
overwhelming.
On Monday, June 22, we meet at Willow Ridge Assisted Liv-
ing Facility to begin singing at 9:30 AM. I have all the music
to sing. From Willow Ridge, we will travel to Memorial
Manor for 2 concerts. Remember to wear your outfits. Lunch
will be Dutch treat at a location to be announced.
CHURCH MUSICIANS NEEDED
Due to my vacation with my grandson, Ethan, last week. I was
not able to send out the surveys as expected. Please take a mo-
ment to complete and return the Music Ministry Service Sur-
vey which will be sent to known musicians here at FBC. Your
faithful participation is needed for our body to perform at its
best!
MIGRANT MINISTRY NEEDS HELP
In addition to hosting a meal for all the volunteers, FIRST
BAPTIST CHURCH has provided clothing. Thanks to the
BARACA Sunday School Class for their cash contribution to
this ministry. Workers, clothing, and cash is needed in order to
help all who need it. See the Missions Bulletin Board across
from the office for specific details on how you can help.
