Transco is also continuing to research additional compressor station site options for proposed Compressor
Station 605 and Compressor Station 610. Currently three options are being reviewed for Compressor
Station 605 and five options are being reviewed for Compressor Station 610.
Routing, Environmental, and Cultural Resource Surveys
Centerline routing surveys started on May 12, 2014 along the Central Penn Line (CPL) North and CPL
South. Environmental and cultural resource surveys started on May 19, 2014 and will progress along the
Primary Routes (within the 600-foot study corridor) identified in the initial draft of Resource Report 1 and
along specific alternatives, as survey permission is available. Mist-netting surveys for Indiana and northern
long-eared bats started on May 22, 2014. Phase 1 and Phase 2 surveys will begin in late J une 2014 for
other threatened and endangered species, including bog turtle, timber rattlesnake, Allegheny woodrat, and
state-listed plant species. Surveys will be conducted in accordance with agency guidance on survey
protocols.
Routing surveys have been completed as follows:

42 miles (35%) for CPL South
9 miles (100%) for Unity Loop
3 miles (100%) of Chapman Loop
2.5 miles (100%) of Virginia Replacements A&B
Environmental wetland and waterbody surveys have been completed as follows:

8 miles (7%) of CPL South

Cultural resource surveys have been completed as follows:
4 miles (44%) for Unity Loop
14.5 miles (26%) of CPL North

0 miles (0%) of Virginia Replacements A&B
Access roads and staging/pipe yards are currently being identified as landowner permission is granted.
Compressor Station 605 and 610 option locations are under consideration and are anticipated to be surveyed
in J uly.

May 19, 2014 Meeting with Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) to discuss process for
obtaining survey permission and easements on State Game Lands and other lands managed by
PGC.
May 27, 2014 Meeting with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Baltimore District to
introduce the Project.
State and Federal Permits and Clearances
There are no updates or modifications to the list of major state and federal environmental permits and
clearances previously filed in initial draft Resource Report 1.
Landowner
Transco continues to make notifications to landowners. Transco is actively working with individual
landowners to address their concerns regarding routing on their property as access is granted. A landowner
contact list was submitted to the FERC under Privileged and Confidential on May 2, 2014. Landowners
along the Lancaster Alternative were notified the week of May 26, 2014. The following table summarizes
the status of survey access permission to date.

Public Outreach
Transcos outreach team continues to meet with state, county, and township officials in the areas potentially
affected by the Project. The outreach team will continue its efforts to keep the community leaders in the
Project area informed of company activities. Outreach meetings that occurred since the last reporting period
are listed below.
Open Houses
Approximately 1,000 people have attended seven open houses thus far:
May 20, 2014 - Luzerne County Completed. Approximately 200 attendees.
