Genesis 15:1-6
But Abram said, Lord God, what will You give
me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my
house is Eliezer of Damascus? Then Abram
said, Look, You have given me no offspring;
indeed one born in my house is my heir!

And behold, the word of the Lord came to him,
saying, This one shall not be your heir, but one
who will come from your own body shall be your
heir. 5 Then He brought him outside and said,
Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if
you are able to number them. And He said to
him, So shall your descendants be.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not seen. Heb.11:1
Hosea 2:14-16
Therefore, behold, I will allure her,

Will bring her into the wilderness,

And speak comfort to her.


15 I will give her her vineyards from there,
And the Valley of Achor as a door of hope;
She shall sing there,
As in the days of her youth,
As in the day when she came up from the land
of Egypt.

16 And it shall be, in that day,
Says the Lord,
That you will call Me My Husband,
And no longer call Me My Master,

And Achan answered Joshua and said, Indeed I
have sinned against the Lord God of Israel, and
this is what I have done: 21 When I saw among
the spoils a beautiful Babylonian garment, two
hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold
weighing fifty shekels, I coveted them and took
them. And there they are, hidden in the earth in
the midst of my tent, with the silver under it.
So Joshua sent messengers, and they ran to the tent;
and there it was, hidden in his tent, with the silver
under it. 23 And they took them from the midst of the
tent, brought them to Joshua and to all the children of
Israel, and laid them out before the Lord. 24 Then
Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of
Zerah, the silver, the garment, the wedge of gold, his
sons, his daughters, his oxen, his donkeys, his sheep,
his tent, and all that he had, and they brought them to
the Valley of Achor. 25 And Joshua said, Why have you
troubled us? The Lord will trouble you this day. So all
Israel stoned him with stones; and they burned them
with fire after they had stoned them with stones.
