are conveniently located just 10 minutes from the JCC. Facilities at the new camp include a large
pool with locker rooms, sports felds and courts, an archery range, an indoor activity center with
climbing wall, games and stage; a pirate ship play structure, pioneering and nature activity areas;
a ftness activity area, a 20-foot high fort, a mine shaft, a climbing tower, overnight camping areas,

Michael Parlamus, the driving
force behind Axia, according
to his wife Marge, spent years
building restaurants in New York
City, but was disappointed there
wasnt a decent Greek restaurant
in Tenafy, where the couple has
lived since 1971. In 2006, they
launched Axia, which ofers
Greek cuisine with a twist, says
Marge. Spanikopita, fsh, and
pasticcio are popular dishes with
customers, but what really keeps
people coming back is the roast chicken, expertly prepared by Chef Alex Gorant. We have people
come in and will eat only the chicken, Marge said. Its extremely tender and everyone loves it. If you
want to try a variety of delicacies, you can easily make a meal out of the mezze, or appetizers. In the
front of house, Tim Vlahopoulos makes sure everything runs smoothly and customers have come
to expect his warm presence. Tim makes them feel very welcome, Marge said. They always look
forward to seeing him. In Greek, Axia means worthy and this Tenafy restaurant certainly lives up to
the name.

Blue Moon Mexican Caf in Englewood, and apparently readers agree.
Of course, theres more to Mexican food than guacamole. Felixbrod cited

passed down from chef to chef. The Englewood caf is one of four Blue
