    Melakartha Raga are the complete permutation and combinations possible for 22 Sruthisthana of 7 Swara and they form the base and axis of entire pyramid of Karnatic Music System of India. Considering the importance of this system of Mathematical and artistic precision, The rarity of compositions in 72 Melakartha Raga is surprising.We have a sanskrit (Mahavaidyanathan Sivan's sung by MS Subbulaxmi)Tamil (Koteeswara Iyers's sung by Dr Rajam) ,Telugu (Of Balamuralikrishna sung by himself). Hitherto no compositions were present in Malayalam Language . My attempt is to create and preserve the 72 Melakartha Raga in MY Language (Malayalam) too for posterity and for experimenting with the healing effects it makes on society. This multiprong purpose project was carried out by me with a view of preserving ancient Indian Cultural Heritage .The songs were notated and sung by Dr Bhuvaneswary and a project on Music Therapy done at Amritha Hospital and Research center . Dr Suvarna Nalapat Trust is dedicated to Research and Education, and making the results of these available to entire society . With the help of www.scribd.com we are sharing our creative,protective and healing project in our language (Malayalam) for the entire world. May Shanthi (Peace) prevail on earth .
