I am writing to inform you of an individual who may be engaging in unlicensed practice of
law in the District of Columbia and/or Maryland. According to the DC Bar website, the law license
of Kevin B. Zeese, 2842 North Calvert Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21218, (301) 966-6582, has been
suspended. Maryland does not list Mr. Zeese as a member of its bar. On information and belief
Mr. Zeese surrendered his license to practice in Virginia in 2011. I have been unable to find him
listed as an attorney in any other jurisdiction in the United States. However, Mr. Zeese continues to
say that he is an attorney.

Specifically, he has made that claim in a pleading filed in a case currently before the U. S.
District Court for the District of Columbia, Public Citizen, et al. v. Federal Election Commission, 14-
CV-148-RJL. In a declaration filed in support of a motion for summary judgment (ECF No. 23-2),
Mr. Zeese said, I am an attorney with Plaintiff ProtectOurElections.org He is a coplaintiff
with ProtectOurElections.org in the lawsuit. That organization gives its address in the caption of
the Complaint (ECF No. 1) as POB 9576, Washington, DC 20016. On information and belief the
organization actually operates with its parent entity, Velvet Revolution US, at 6513 79th Place, Cabin
John, Maryland, and/or 8100 Beech Tree Road, Bethesda, Maryland.

Additionally, Mr. Zeese has numerous current postings on the Internet in which he identifies
himself as an attorney with a Baltimore address. See, e.g., http://www.greenshadowcabinet.us/
member-profile/7533. Kevin Zeese is an attorney who has been a political activist since graduating
from George Washington Law School in 1980.
