The Call to Worship

~ based on Psalm 91, Revelation 5,

& Romans 10 ~

Leader: We have gathered to worship
the true and living God as He has
revealed Himself most fully in the Lord
Jesus Christ.

Unison: He is our refuge and our
fortress, our God in whom we trust.

Leader: Let us confess with our mouths,
Jesus is Lord, and believe in our
hearts that God raised Him from the
dead, for Everyone who calls upon the
name of the Lord will be saved.

Unison: With all the saints throughout
history we say, Worthy is the Lamb
who was slain, to receive power and
wealth and wisdom and strength and
honour and glory and praise.

Leader: Let us call upon our one true
Lord and God, believing Him in our
hearts, confessing Him with our
mouths, and worshiping Him in spirit
and in truth.

Prayer of Adoration

Songs of Praise & Worship

Come, Thou Almighty King

Come, Thou Almighty King
Help us Thy name to sing
Help us to praise
Father all glorious, oer all victorious
Come, and reign over us
Ancient of Days

Come, Thou Incarnate Word
Gird on Thy mighty sword
Our prayer attend
Come, and Thy people bless
And give Thy word success
Spirit of holiness, on us descend
Come, Holy Comforter
Thy sacred witness bear
In this glad hour
Thou who almighty art
Now rule in every heart
And neer from us depart, Spirit of powr

To the great One in Three
Eternal praises be
Hence ever more
His sovreign majesty
May we in glory see
And to eternity love and adore

God So Loved The World

God so loved the world, that He gave
God so loved the world, that He gave
His only Son

Worthy is the Lamb that was slain
Worthy is the Lamb that was slain

Hes risen from the dead
He is risen!
Hes high and lifted up
Heaven and earth adore
Call to Repentance & Renewal

~ based on Matthew 22:37-38 ~

Leader: Our Lord Jesus instructs us with
these words, You shall love the Lord
your God with all your heart, and with
all your soul, and with all your mind.
T h i s i s t h e g r e a t a n d f i r s t
commandment.

As the Lord has instructed us as to what
our deepest loyalty should be, and
because we have not lived fully in light
of this commandment, let us confess our
sins to God, trusting in Christ as our
Saviour and Lord.
Song of Confession

Jesus, I Come (Out of My Bondage)

Out of my bondage, sorrow and night
Jesus, I come; Jesus I come
Into Thy freedom, gladness and light
Jesus, I come to Thee
Out of my sickness into Thy health
Out of my wanting and into Thy wealth
Out of my sin and into Thyself
Jesus, I come to Thee

Out of my shameful failure and loss
Jesus, I come; Jesus, I come
Into the glorious gain of Thy cross
Jesus, I come to Thee
Out of earths sorrows into Thy balm
Out of lifes storms and into Thy calm
Out of distress into jubilant psalm
Jesus, I come to Thee

Out of unrest and arrogant pride
Jesus, I come; Jesus, I come
Into Thy blessed will to abide
Jesus, I come to Thee
Out of myself to dwell in Thy love
Out of despair into raptures above
Upward forever on wings like a dove
Jesus, I come to Thee

Out of the fear and dread of the tomb
Jesus, I come; Jesus, I come
Into the joy and light of Thy home
Jesus, I come to Thee
Out of the depths of ruin untold
Into the peace of Thy sheltering fold
Ever Thy glorious face to behold
Jesus, I come to Thee

The Words of The Gospel

~ Romans 5 & 1 Peter 2 ~

Leader: The proof of God's amazing love
is this: while we were yet sinners, Christ
died for us. Christ suffered once for sins,
the righteous for the unrighteous, that He
might bring us to God. He Himself bore
our sins in His body on the cross, so that
we might die to sin and live to righteous-
ness. By His wounds you have been
healed. For you were straying like lost
sheep, but have now returned to the
Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

Song of Response

Amazing Grace
(My Chains Are Gone)

Amazing grace
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now I'm found
Was blind, but now I see

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear
And grace my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed

chorus
My chains are gone
I've been set free
My God, my Saviour has ransomed me
And like a flood His mercy reigns
Unending love, amazing grace

The Lord has promised good to me
His word my hope secures
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures

(repeat chorus)

The earth shall soon dissolve like snow
The sun forbear to shine
But God, Who called me here below
Will be forever mine
Will be forever mine
You are forever mine
The Prayers of the People
for the Church and City

Leader: Let us pray.

Unison: Our Father in Heaven, hallow-
ed be your name. Your Kingdom come,
Your will be done, on earth as it is in
heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread, and
forgive us our debts as we also have
forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into
temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For the kingdom, the power, and the
glory are yours, now and forever. Amen.

Song of Preparation

How Great Is Our God

The splendour of the King
Clothed in majesty
Let all the earth rejoice
Let all the earth rejoice

He wraps himself in Light
And darkness tries to hide
And trembles at His voice
And trembles at His voice

chorus
How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God

Age to age He stands
And time is in His hands
Beginning and the end
Beginning and the end

The Godhead Three in One:
Father, Spirit, Son
The Lion and the Lamb
The Lion and the Lamb

(repeat chorus)

bridge
Name above all names
Worthy of all praise
My heart will sing how great is our God

Songs for Communion

Just As I Am (I Come Broken)

Just as I am, without one plea
But that Thy blood was shed for me
And that Thou bidst me come to Thee
O Lamb of God, I come, I come

Just as I am, and waiting not
To rid my soul of one dark blot
To Thee Whose blood
Can cleanse each spot
O Lamb of God, I come, I come

chorus
I come broken to be mended
I come wounded to be healed
I come desperate to be rescued
I come empty to be filled
I come guilty to be pardoned
By the blood of Christ the Lamb
And I'm welcomed with open arms
Praise God, Just as I am

Just as I am, I would be lost
But mercy and grace my freedom bought
And now to glory in Your cross
O Lamb of God, I come, I come

(repeat chorus)

Here I Am To Worship

Light of the world
You stepped down into darkness
Open my eyes, let me see
Beauty that made this heart adore You
Hope of a life spent with You

chorus
Here I am to worship
Here I am to bow down
Here I am to say that You're my God
You're altogether lovely
All together worthy
All together wonderful to me

King of all days
Oh so highly exalted
Glorious in heaven above
Humbly You came
To the earth You created
All for love's sake became poor

(repeat chorus)

bridge
I'll never know how much it cost
To see my sin upon that cross
I'll never know how much it cost
To see my sin upon that cross

Our Confession of Faith

~ The Apostles Creed ~

Leader: Christians, in whom do you
believe?

Unison: We believe in God the Father
Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.

And we believe in Jesus Christ, His
only Son our Lord, who was conceived
by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin
Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried; He
descended into hell. The third day He
rose again from the dead. He ascended
to heaven and is seated at the right hand
of God the Father Almighty. From there
He will come to judge the living and the
dead.

And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the
Holy catholic church, the communion of
saints, the forgiveness of sins, the
resurrection of the body, and the life
everlasting. Amen.
The Benediction

~ Numbers 6:24-26~

Leader: The Lord bless you and keep
you; the Lord make His face to shine
upon you and be gracious to you; the
Lord lift up His countenance upon you
and give you peace.

Unison: Amen!
