Re: Burglary of 6133 S. Ellis

Dear Superintendent Weis:

Sam Adam Sr., and I should like to take this opportunity to express in the most
superlative of terms the services rendered by the Chicago Police Officers when our
offices located at 6133 S. Ellis Ave., Chicago, Illinois were burglarized on the early
morning of December 4th, 2009. Regrettably, I neglected to get all of the names and star
numbers of the beat officers that immediately responded to the alarm, but upon arrival
they secured the premises, prevented any further violation of our property, and conducted
an efficient and complete investigation. Next to respond were the Detectives and
Evidence Technicians whose thoroughness was second to none.
These fine men went about their work with the most superior of professionalism
and courtesy. It is our hope and recommendation that your office will ascertain all of the
names and star numbers of the police officers who assisted these wonderful law
enforcement officers and will issue commendations to each. The names of the officers
that we were able to obtain are listed below and this letter should serve to let them know
just how much their effort and professionalism was appreciated.
