Creating a CD cover using publisher

1. Choose blank publication


2. Go to INSERT and choose, empty picture frame.
3. Change the size of it, so it is about the same size as a CD cover:

You can choose to have a plain background, or a background with a picture.


For a plain background: go to format picture and choose colour. Choose the
colour for your background.

To have a picture as a background: you can either go to INSERT, PICTURE,


CLIP ART or you can surf the net and copy an image by right clicking it and
then clicking COPY and then pasting it onto your CD cover.

Now you can choose your font. You will need to think of a name for the
artist/group (you should have done this last lesson) and a name for the
single. Try to choose a font that reflects what you and your single are
about.

You can use Word Art to create your lettering.


Go to INSERT, PICTURE, WORD ART to do this.

You can change the colour and format of the word art by right clicking your
words:

Finally, save your work and PRINT ONE COPY ONLY of your cd cover.
