The following is a summary of findings from a telephone survey conducted among 400 likely Democratic primary voters in the Tenth
Congressional District of Illinois. Interviews were conducted among landline and mobile households October 5-8, 2015. The sampling
error for this survey is plus or minus 4.9 percentage points.

Brad Schneider is the prohibitive favorite to win the Democratic Primary in Illinoiss Tenth
Congressional District. Schneider begins the race with a majority of the vote and large advantages
over a potential challenger.
Schneider bests his challenger by 36 points, leading 54% to 18% over Nancy Rotering. He
wins by huge margins among all demographic groups and performs even better among the key
constituencies of voters 50 and older (57%), women (55%), union households (58%) and liberals
(56%).
The most engaged primary voters are ardent supporters of Schneider. Among voters who say
they will definitely vote and always vote in Democratic primaries, Schneider receives 56%.
Among those with the strongest primary vote history, he gets 69%.
Schneider is well known and well liked. Schneider boasts a 50%-12% favorable rating and even
more impressive is the fact that 63% call the job Schneider did when he was in Congress
excellent or good. As with the vote, Schneider is stronger in these measurements of his
political strength among voters 50 and older, voters with the strongest vote history and liberals.
Just 28% even know who Nancy Rotering is. Among the small segment of the electorate who say
they know who she is, Schneider is still winning and 65% think he did an excellent or good job
when he was in Congress. Schneider even wins an exchange over the Iran deal with Rotering.
