What is Wibree?
• Wibree is a digital radio technology
(intended to become an open standard of
Wibree wireless communications) designed for
ultra low power consumption (button cell
batteries) within a short range (10 meters /

phones and PCs) will benefit from a dual-mode
implementation that will extend Bluetooth
connectivity to a new range of smaller devices
